Patricia Ramzi is a Psychotherapist registered with the British Association of Psychotherapists (BACP) and is fully insured. She has been counselling adults and children for over 3 years and is passionate about caring, listening, and ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard.
She is trained in Person Centred Counselling which is a humanistic approach, Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT) along with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She has worked with a variety of clients, dealing with mixture of issues including Anxiety, Depression, Loss, Addiction and Bereavement and many others. She is committed to supporting you towards becoming the fully functioning person you want to be.
She maintains confidentiality, autonomy, and mutual respect for all of her clients. She practices equality, along with diversity whilst adhering to the strict BACP code of ethics.
Prior to counselling, she worked at a senior level within the NHS as a Matron. Her role was to ensure that all patients, relatives and staff had a voice, were cared for, were supported and heard. She would love to work with you and it is her aim to keep you both emotionally and physically safe when working on issues and reflect on your challenges which are affecting your life.
When you are strong enough to challenge your strongly-held beliefs which might be preventing you from becoming the person you want to be, she will be there to support you through your process of identifying and working thorough your challenges though therapy. Patricia is mindful to treat you with the greatest care because she does not know how difficult it was for you to make the decision to open the door towards your journey of self-discovery.
“I want to work with people, help them to feel safe and not judged in any way. I work with my clients by providing support and safety. This helps to anchor the self and build a therapeutic relationship which is the key to therapy.” – Patricia Ramzi

“I felt humbled to have been given the opportunity to undertake such a challenging role. I felt honoured to have worked with people who have lost their way. When a person accepts that they are ready to make a difference to their life, its humbling to see how change can occur.
I have been privileged to be given the opportunity to work with children and teenagers in both Primary and secondary schools. It is rewarding to provide support, build trust, and develop the therapeutic relationship. I can provide a stable environment where both children and teenagers can explore their feeling, and work through their challenges in a safe place.”
